Problem solved!

For whatever reason GOODF had set number of manuals to 6, numbered pedal as 001 and the others increasing by one, and….the real culprit was HasPedals =N.

So changed:
NumberOfManuals=5
HasPedals=Y

Renumbered manuals, starting with pedal as 000.

Edited the manuals so that the switches for the stops of that manual are included as a switch for the manual.

Now working.

And, no, I’m not a fan of the square blocks used for these organs. Here’s a screenshot of my design for the stop board presentation.

If there’s interest, I can share with all the graphics

Yes, I thought so, regarding the HasPedals=Y being the problem.

I think it would be great if you would be willing to share the build as you have designed it - my time is very limited!

Simply post it under your name - Caen/Rotterdam redesigned by dcp9142. The more the merrier in getting free organs out there!

Tried, but it did not work, same problem persists. I attach edited ODF.

Hi dcp9142,

I just tried it with the pedal division of this organ - the problem was corrected as I said it would - I was able to set two divisional settings for the pedal - independent of what the rest of the organ was doing as a divisional should function - so I am not sure what you are doing - I will examine your code.

Stay tuned for a new version of this build.

I examined your code.

You appear to have reprogrammed my code to use the element type of language for GrandOrgue which I am less familiar with.

However one observation I did make is that you have defined Manual001 as your pedal. This should be Manual000 and then tell the coding HasPedals=Y. This may? have thrown off the indexing for the innate divisional handling? I don't know. Maybe try that - I cannot run your code as I do not have any of the graphics.

As I said, I will update my own code for you - although it appears you are not a fan of the square blocks?

Thank you, I will try it.

Interestingly, although I can use GOs general combinations with this set, I cannot use the divisional combinations. They can’t be set or selected. I can’t find anything in the ODF that would prevent it. Same issue in several other of your composites, but not in any of my other sample sets. Insights?

I believe the problem is related to the non-linking of the switches within the manual section. The only build I made that did this was Ludergus Dom Colossus.

The structure of the SP-Giga coding from Schmidt is relatively simple. Switches 001 through 020 are pedal. Switches 021 through 040 are Manual 1, Switches 041 through 060 are Manual 2, Switches 061 through 080 are Manual 3, I believe Manual 4 and 5 have 30 switches.

Add this list to each manual in the manual section:

NumberOfSwitches=20 (doesn't even matter if all switches are used in regards to their reference in the stop section)

Switch001=001

Switch002=002

Etc. up until Switch020=020 - this would be for the pedal division. Continue with all other Manuals.

Manual 1 would be

Switch001=021

Switch002=022 Etc.

If you do this I am sure the divisional combinations will then begin to work. You can also test Ludgerus-Dom Colossus.
