Play a IV/52 French Organ Composite!

I had 2 or 3 free hours yesterday, so I made this cute "Punchy" French Organ:

This requires:

1. St. Pons DEMO

2. St. Omer DEMO

3. Beziers DEMO

4. Caen DEMO

A IV/52 Build with a Bombarde manual and 17 reeds. Pedal is Caen, Man I is Bezier/St. Pons, Man II is St. Omer, Man III is Bezier, Man IV is St. Omer/St. Pons. Enjoy!

Sir,

I did get this installed correctly last year. It is another example where the ODF is missing a switch subsection in the manuals, so divisionals do not work. Once I add the switches into the manuals it works fine. As with many others the BLOWER switch on main panel is not hooked to anything, WIND needs to be activated on the CONTROLS panel for stops to sound.

Best regards,

Doug

Hi Doug,

Regarding the blower noise - this switch was only for turning on and off the blower sound effect - it never had any intention of controlling the ability of the stops to sound as the wind button did - that can be from the control panel as you mentioned. Obviously in a real organ the blower noise will be heard when the organ is working - a digital set can have different possibilities.

Thank you for all your detective work.

If you don't want the hassle of packaging and posting everything yourself, I'd be more than happy to include your improvements in the official French Composite #1 release. Just send me your updated ODF and graphics, and I'll credit you prominently in the release notes for the coding fixes.

Also, if you are willing to share the improvement for Caen/Rotterdam (I like the graphics) as well as the French Composite #1, you could share it here and I will post it. However, I am not trying to create any work for you - if you are not comfortable, no problem.

Best Regards,

Will.

As the composite runs fine on my system (at the time of me uploading this composite), there MUST be some files that are missing on your end. You must do an analysis of the code and compare exactly the file structure/file names/cases etc.

Is your system case sensitive? Check for any Case Mismatches?

Secondly, verify that those files are EXACTLY as the code is calling for. 002721 is Beziers and 001704 is Caen.

If you want feel free to email me at pianoorganpraise@gmail.com for further discussion.

Hi,

Thank you for connecting and making composite! I highly appreciate the time you spent of it. Please, do you want to share a disposition-list and / or screenshot in your uploads?

So it will be much easier to look wich stops and look this instruments have! Thanks in advance!

K.regards,

HvV
