165 Stop Build! Play several organs in one! Add Layers of Reverberation!

-A Billerbeck Demo Extension (requires Billerbeck Demo from Sonus)

-15 divisions/165 stops.

-A complex demo extension utilizing all perspectives and gives the user the ability to layer in different levels of reverberation

-Each Division can be played as its own organ and each perspective can be played as its own organ

-10 panels and 12 midi connectable keyboards

-Amazingly - plays on a 32 GB RAM computer

-Perhaps a Study Piece for those who wish to add panels/generals to the Michael P. Schmidt SP-GIGA GrandOrgue code architecture

    As Per User dtrevin:

    1. Corrected Posaune 8 Echo and Lontano Pedal Divisions

    2. Corrected HolzFl4TREM to HolzFl4trem as well as GeigenPrinc8TREM to GeigenPrinc8Trem - I believe these are the only two non-TREM labelled directories which affects LINUX users.

Maybe the Linux users could advise me again. For some reason there are no longer case errors notified on routine loading in GrandOrgue nor in hidden "strict-odf mode" either.

If anyone else finds issues let me know - a huge build like this needs Beta-testers. Thank you to dtrevin.

Thanks for the info, but when I extracted partition 00 and moved on to partition 01, Winrar asked me if it should overwrite identical files on partition 00. I said yes, but is that correct? If so, I'll proceed with the other partitions. I'm waiting for your kind reply.

Sure, overwrite everything and make sure you skip no rar files.

I tried replacing GO 03.1.2330 with 3.17.1.1, but even with the latter, the samples aren't loaded because they don't exist. This is what the initial check says, but they're all there, having verified. What could be the problem? Can someone help me solve it? Thank you. RAF

Did you verify that the referenced files that aren't loading do exist in the directory structures?

As with someone else's problem with my L'Orgue Symphonique Francais, make sure you download all 8 Billerbeck rar files and extract each one of them independently.

Also you can check that the .organ file is INSIDE the OrganInstallationPackages Directory, NOT outside it.

Today I successfully loaded this in my wife's DELL Touchscreen Laptop, which has only an i3 processor, 16GB DRAM and a SATA SSD (1TB). Used 16bits, Lossless Compression, All Loops, All Attacks and Single Release with Polyphase. No Reverb needed. Set a small Principal Chorus and it sounded great. Pretty much maxxed out the DRAM and gobbled some SWAP File Memory, but I am pleased that it sounded so nice.

I get error Out of range value at section 'Organ' entry 'NumberOfTremulants': 13 when i try to open the .organ file. There seems to be some kind of problem with LudgerusDomColossus file. How do i fix this? Does anyone else have this problem?

No idea. No error on my end. There are 13 tremulants matching the requirement for the 13 tremulants in the opening statements.

Make sure you are using GrandOrgue 3.17. And redownload the odf again maybe. Thanks.

You are correct, I was using 24-bit. I confirm it loads using 16-bit as mentioned earier and thank you for the fixes.

Dear Sampleset Users,

Perhaps everyone is not aware that if you do not click "Lossless Compression" in GrandOrgue Settings, the sampleset will load in "Lossy", which even though it is counterintuitive, requires MUCH MORE RAM to do so. So make sure you use Lossless and most of my samplesets will load if you have 32 GB RAM - and check 16 Bit as well if you have lower memory - most builds are fine at 16 Bit - however there is a noise floor in some sets such as Nancy that use 16 Bit only.

If you only have 16 Bit try using single release mode to save further memory.

Thanks

A couple of issues to make you aware,
- it gave errors the first time loading, I am using Linux where the name of folder/files is case sensitive, the ODF file was looking for folders names ending in TREM but the folder name was only Trem (easy fix, renamed the folders)
- it users 61.6 GB of RAM on my system, but I was able to make run in under 32 GB, the trade-offs were enabling memory compression and single release
- there is a problem with the Pousane 8' stops in the pedals, it plays the wrong notes.

I will let you know if I find other issues, otherwise, thanks for making this. extended version.

Yes, my friend Pneuma who has Linux also has this issue with the case errors. However when I check my 002286 Folder on my computer all directories are TREM. So why are they Trem in Linux? Same thing for Pneuma.

On my system it comes in at 23 GB app usage on 64 GB system when running at 16 bit. So I'm not sure why yours is coming in that high - you've got to have it at 24 Bit. When I run it at 20 bit it comes in at 48 GB so you've got to be running this at 24 bit.

Thank you for noticing the Posaune 8 Issues - will correct the coding. Appreciate your Beta-testing of it!

Any other errors that anybody notices - let me know - a humungous job programming this one!
