New Version (2.0.0) !! This Odf is an extension of my previous GO-Odf for the Billerbeck Semi-Dry demo sample set. It is a demo for an improved Swellboxsimulation as well. For its principle of operation, I refer to my posts in the forum.

This Odf is an extension of my previous GO-Odf for the Billerbeck Semi-Dry demo sample set, which can be found here in the Filebase. It is a demo in two ways. The extension concerns an improved simulation of a Swellbox with GrandOrgue. For its principle of operation, I refer to my posts in the (German Language) forum.

It's not just a demo, it's also an experiment. Due to the fact that it is not sufficient for this simulation to provide only a finished Odf it implies some DIY-work for you. Samples are required for the muffeld sound of a closed swell box. However, they are not included here.

In this case, these are to be obtained from the samples of the open swell boxes. This requires filtering. Since Grandorgue cannot do this filtering, we need to do it in advance with another program. This Odf is accompanied by a detailed description of how you can do it yourself with selected free software. I am curious if you are interested in doing this yourself and I am curious about your possible experience with it.

This way of simulation requires more memory. For this odf I decided to simulate only the swell box of the “Schwellwerk” in this way. So it remains possible to store the entire demo sample set in 24 bit resolution (using lossless compression) in a working memory of only 16 GB. The memory requirement is then 14328 MB.

:!:Warning: The extension of the enclosure with damped samples makes this a multi-channel sample set. Make sure that the function “Randomize pipe Speaking” (Audio and Midi settings) is disabled. This prevents intermodulation distortion that can result from non-synchronous detuning of the different samples for the same pipe

I have noticed in further testing that the simple band filter used in the manual gives rise to clicking sounds when playing. A solution is being worked on.
